These terms govern your use of www.squatch.gg and of any game or digital content offered by Squatch Studios, LLC, a limited liability company in Seattle, Washington, United States ("Squatch Studios", "we", "us"). By using the site or buying from us, you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our services, and at least 18 — or the age of majority where you live — to make a purchase. If you are under 18 you may only buy with the consent of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.

What we sell

Squatch Studios develops and publishes video games. Anything we sell is digital and delivered electronically. We do not sell or ship physical goods. Nothing is currently for sale.

When you buy digital content from us, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use that content within our games. You do not acquire ownership of the content or of any underlying intellectual property, and you may not resell, rent, or redistribute it.

Payments

Prices are shown in United States dollars unless stated otherwise, and exclude any tax that applies where you live. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card details. You are responsible for any fee your bank charges, including currency conversion.

Refunds, cancelation, and disputes are covered by our Refund, Dispute & Cancelation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Promotions

We do not currently run any promotion, discount, sale, giveaway, or contest. If we do, its specific terms — who may enter, what is offered, when it starts and ends, and any limits — will be published with the promotion itself, and those terms will control alongside these.

Legal and export restrictions

Our services are offered from the United States and are subject to United States law, including export control and economic sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control. You may not use or purchase from our services if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or a government official of a country or region subject to comprehensive United States sanctions, or if you appear on any United States government restricted-party list. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your own country; where our services or content are unlawful where you are, you may not use them.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to our systems; do not reverse engineer or circumvent technical protections except where the law expressly permits it; do not cheat, exploit, or use unauthorised third-party software against other players; and do not harass other players. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches.

Availability

Our services are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise the site or any game will be uninterrupted or error free, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of them. If we permanently discontinue paid content you have recently bought, contact us and we will deal with it fairly under the refund policy.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Squatch Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law allows. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington have jurisdiction. This does not remove any protection or forum granted to you by the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated terms. Changes never apply retroactively to a purchase you have already made.
